Thoughts on Gymboree Clothing for Children
I am new to parenting and would like some opinions on Gymboree Clothing for children. My friends are obsessed with this clothing for their children. They buy it in huge quantities and each outfit has accessories to match. I admit the clothing is pretty cute and seems higher quality than many other stores. But what is your opinion or experience with this clothing company? And how does it compare to say, Carters? I am am willing to pay for quality and cute-ness. Thanks for any opinions. Just trying to figure this all out!
I am a huge Gymboree Fan. My kids are pretty much dressed in it 85% of the time! I do think the quality is better then a lot of other clothes and I love that each line has matching accessories. For me though, the number one selling point is that it lasts forever. One outfit can get through all 3 of my girls and still look like it is in great condition. Clothes from Target, JcPenny etc don’t last like that.
Another plus for me, is that since there are so many Gymbo lovers out there I can find them on Ebay very inexpensively and in return I can sell my girls and sons clothes for a little extra money

Swing Kids $4.19 This strange movie with a niche subject–jazz-loving, dance-loving German kids persecuted by Hitler’s men–almost works, thanks to a good cast who seem devoted to the unusual story line. Director Thomas Carter doesn’t bring the necessary stylistic oomph to the musical sequences, something that might have pushed the whole production to another, more interesting level of Hollywood dream. The Emperor’s New Clothes $1.98 Part of Cannon’s Movietale series, The Emperor’s New Clothes is a frenetic musical take on Hans Christian Andersen’s fable. The good news is that Sid Caesar makes for an entertaining Emperor. The bad news is that the incessant slapstick grows tiresome, though the tunes, like “Clothes Make the Man” (“Change ‘em every hour/that’s how a politician stays in power”) aren’t bad. In David Irving’s adapta… |
